Summer Research Analyst Internship

B Revolution seeks an entrepreneurial undergraduate student interested in the field of social enterprise startups to assist B Revolution’s leadership team in building the social enterprise revolution.  The Intern will work as part of an integrated team of talented attorneys and social enterprise experts who work together to solve client needs and promote social enterprise to the small business and nonprofit sectors. Interns will author posts on the B Revolution blog regarding matters of legal and business importance to social enterprise.

Credential Requirements  

General

The candidate should possess a demonstrated passion for social enterprise, and an eagerness to learn about the social enterprise space from a holistic business and legal perspective.  The candidate must also be comfortable working in a team setting, but should also be self-motivated to initiate research and other work given a broad mandate to do so.

Academics

The ideal candidate will have undergraduate business, environmental science, or other sustainability – or social-enterprise-related training, though such training is not required if the student has applicable work or volunteer experience. Intensive field-specific training will be considered favorably.

Availability

Interns should be available to generate two blogs per week starting July 3, 2013, and ending no later than August 10, 2013, with the potential to continue as a paid part-time intern in the Fall of 2013.  Working from home and telecommuting for business research is possible, though the Intern will be required to Skype for client meetings if the intern pursues is selected for a consulting-related internship.
